PNR Status FAQ
What information does a PNR contain?
A PNR record contains the train number and train name, journey date, boarding and destination station codes, departure and arrival times, the class of travel, and the names and ages of all passengers booked under that PNR. It also shows the current booking status for each passenger whether it is Confirmed (CNF), RAC, or Waitlisted (WL), along with any coach and berth numbers that have been allocated. Additional information includes the quota under which the ticket was booked, the fare paid, the chart preparation status, and whether the ticket has been cancelled or is eligible for a refund.
